In retrospect, having rewatched the Shamrock/Igor Z fight, all i can say that any man who cripples his "friend" in NHB is taking the limited rules effect too far.

I'd like to see Shamrock schooled by a fighter who can equally cripple him quickly in NHB. Not a laid back (I will survive) Royce approach, but I will break your neck in under 40 seconds approach.

What do you guys think? Who is best to step up to the challenge?

I hope that you are trolling.
Frank was just taking him down and after all, it is a fight. He punched him once after they were down before realizing Igor was out and then he got up before BJM came over. Frank would never intentionally cause someone a permanent injury.

I agree with Miyagi... Frank wasn't trying to end Igor's career with that slam. Unfortunately that is exactly what happened.

I saw that fight. Would I be correct in assuming it was a neck injury? How bad?

That seems strange. Ordinarily a broken collarbone isn’t what I would consider a career ender.

I agree.

Morale-killing, yes......but hardly a career-ending injury.

I thought that he had injuries to several vertabre in his neck, in addition to the collar bone? Even coming back too soon should not end you career, if a broken collar bone is the only problem.

I heard it was also vertabre/neck related. I've broken both collar bones (one twice, the other once). I'm still training, and the only problem I have seems to be from my shoulder (joint), and knee, but that's only minor irritation on rainy days.

Broke my Collar bone in 1st grade heh...not a big deal. I was doing a summersault which was lame but thats gym class in 1st grade for ya. Felt something "strange" in my neck/shoulder area and thought I had scratched it or something literally felt like someone had take a knife to my neck or something heh. So I just sat out the rest of class...took awhile to heal though as I recall.
