![]() | Have you guys noticed the trends in sports are that the higher the pay, the higher the skill range? Take boxing as an example. A top boxer will make millions and there are other boxers that struggle to make a big pay day. Basketball, football and baseball are other examples. Wouldnt the increased salary be a sufficant motive for people to try harder, get better trainers from the increased interest? Not to mention a faster pace of evolution for the techniques involved. Each fighter would be constantly trying new moves and mastering the old ones to a point where they cant get much better at it. If alot more money was offered in each NHB fight, lets say in the 6 figure area, all fighters would have to be virtually forced to master and practice at all ranges instead of being merely proficant in all the ranges? Anyways that was just a sudden train of thought that appeared to me in the shower this morning. Anyone care to comment?

| Novice | A higher pay day can result in them getting lazier too then again, they're not musicians, so who knows?

![]() | Most MMA fighters and a many boxers dont make enough money fighting so they are forced to work full time. If they earned more money fighting then they can afford to train full time and therefore become better fighters. |
