![]() | I recently bought a new groin guard from a firm called Top Ten (also head gear), they make it out of a very modern material called 'BayFlex' which is a sort of rubbery stuff, this compound is very shock absorbant, more so than most other brands including the famous Twins, Fairtex et al. The latter use good quality leather with padding etc.. these do not even come close to the shock absorbing properties of bayflex, imo.. check it out. On the downside, they are not cheap. should be topten.com but not sure because i bought them from my usual supplier rather than directly hope this helps |
