IMO, Igor would knock his head off. And if Yvel started to maul Igor's thighs, Igor would show him the Ukrainian G & P.
I can't believe Enson is out of the hospital already... and it has been several months since he fought Igor. Pedro Rizzo is the best MMA striker IMO.

Silva will kick any of their asses!
Seriously though, if Yvel learns to sprawl and defend against being taken down better, he will be a tough opponent for Vovchanchin.

The best striker in MMA? I don't think there is just one guy. There are several guys that have a strong element or two, but I have yet to see a single guy who had the total package.
Yvel has good kicks, but they're not as fast as some - and he paid for it against Belfort. Vovchanchin has amazing power in his punches, but he doesn't kick much ever since he put on weight a few years ago. Guy Mezger has great accuracy and technique, but has no power. Vitor has good power and speed to his punches, but he's one dimensional with his strikes, and will have trouble with lateral movement and clinching. Pedro Rizzo has amazing power in his kicks, but like Yvel he telegraphs them too much. He also tends to make his high attempts obvious. Marco Ruas has fast, hard to counter kicks and punches - but lacks finishing power. Vanderlei Silva has the best knees in the biz, and a good right hand. I haven't seen many weaknesses from him, but Vitor did light him up when he made his low kick attempt obvious. Since then he's done well, though. Mo Smith has a good combination of punching and kicking power, but is easily taken down and seems to lack the killer instinct he had back in the EFC days. Bas Rutten is probably the best OVERALL striker in the biz, BUT seems to be the easiest to take down due to how heavily he commits to each shot. Lets see how he does at 199 if he plans on fighting anytime soon.
