Ive seen a lot of your posts here and you never have positive information. Do you masturbate to your stupid attempts at witticism? I said some people are naturally better than others, and learn faster. Instruction would just polish and hone their natural aptitudes. All you have said is "you're stupid...>rolling eyes<" You contribute so much to this forum...

As for what ClooneyTKD said, I went into martial arts realizing that I knew absolutely nothing. I applied myself, studied everything I could, and played for keeps.

I never ever figured that I knew HOW to do something. There are things that I never knew how to do, and it took me a long time to learn them.

The knowledge is not innate.
there is no such thing as luck.i like how people fall back on luck. luck is a word thats all it is. its a excuse. how the hell is it lucky if you win. you set out to win not loose. you were better than the other guy. the end. for example im in college and i dont have class on tuesday, so people call me lucky. how the hell am i lucky i set it up so i wouldnt have class on tuesdays. when someone gets knocked out by a "lucky punch" why is it lucky? the person was aiming at the other guys face, could it be that the other person just got beaten. no, theres no way its always has to be luck that won it.
and as for all you tools that take what i say and make it personal i honestly dont know why you get so upset. its like when you eat eat chinese food and someone tells you that your going to have the squirts. you say no, no way am i going to have the squirts. no one believes it until they see it. i can only state my opinion and have every one on these forums flip out at it. so its kind of like when i say why are you guys so negative, then one of you guys posts some smart ass comment anyways so its kind of pointless. have a good day d-bags.

Of course there is. Don't be ridiculous. The idea is to mitigate the potential consequences of chance by being more prepared.

Parents? I was raised in a lab as part of an experiment to merge human and pig DNA.

Yep. I enjoy reading his replies to Omo Plata.

Wittiness is a virtue.

And ClooneyTKD? Luck is a major factor in a fight. Not just in making your moves.

Luck lies in the way the fight plays out. It's the element you can't control. In a fight, you're rarely in total control. Fighting is a random action; every fight is unique in some way. Some things just happen. That wildly-thrown hook just happens to tag the temple, and knocks the guy out cold (or kills him, in which case, you're in a world of legal hurt). He just happens to open his mouth as you throw that uppercut, and you knock half his teeth down his throat and put him in the leaning rest for the foreseeable future.

By luck, the guy I fought gave me his back, as he panicked to get away from me, and I closed down a choke. I didn't plan it. It just happpened. Random chance.

In a dojo, everything plays out pre-planned, except for maybe sparring matches.

On the street, you never know what will hit you.

Admit that you aren't the only reason you might win the fight. Admit that maybe Lady Luck smiled on you that day.
