Default Interesting BJJ vs Freestyle clip

I know its Pro Wrestling, but this one segment seemed like a legit shoot (not scripted for the most part).

He owned the 1st guy obviously, but the 2ond guy would have done better if it were UFC rules as opposed to just pinning the shoulders. It looked like he had that armlock, and Angle was over-extended when he pinned him.

That kimura was sunk in. Angle would have been in trouble if he didn't get the pin.

I agree.....but keep in mind the context. He was only trying to pin his opponent. It may have been a different scenerio if there were different objectives

yeah cause had it been a UFC match then Angle would have speared him and locked on a sharpshooter and just for kicks would climb the cage and do a moonsault.

is there a way to apply that joint lock w/o going to the ground on your back? It seems it would be a good restraint to use in a close-range situation.

There is. There is a nasty trick for getting ton of pressure in that lock . . . .
