"Yes BJJ rules. But Randy Cotoure whuped Vitor Belfort (student of Carlson Gracie, brother of Helio) in UFC 49."

Randy had quite a wrestling career as I understand it. And yes, that would do the trick. But he ALSO trained with guys who do BJJ, on top of it.

Most of the guys who think "bjj" is "all that" are speaking from experience.

BJJ is beautiful.

I thought it was going to be "basically judo, without so many throws".

It wasn't. It is probably more like the early Jigoro Kano judo was, but I have no reason to think so other than Jigoro Kano had much fewer rules in his Judo, and was known for his ability.

BJJ is round and beautiful. Moving 2 person yoga.

Oh yeah. And it also stops the bigger kids from taking your lunch.

sirmattu, relax.

You come here to learn, don't you?

These guys, in a way, are trying to pass something on to you, that's all.

You don't have to be so resentful.

You know that having an open mind is always way better than having a closed mind.

Maybe you should go check out a BJJ school, in all fairness, and have a look at it.

If there is something to BJJ, it would be much better to have it in your own arsenal, rather than not, wouldn't it?

It's really not a matter to be angry about, at all. So some guys like BJJ. That shouldn't be an issue. The issue should be whether or not you like it. And you really can't know that until you've given it..say...2 months of going to class a couple of times a week.

Really, give it a shot. And if you don't like it, think about how much better you will be at telling people WHY bjj sucks.

why did you stop with Miyagi?

You need to include Van Damme, Micheal Dudikoff, Bruce Leeroy and countless others...
