![]() | time to blue belt can vary drastically depending on various factors. Ive seen people take years. I got mine in 2 months I had a wrestling and outside bjj tape training before i joined a club |

![]() | Cakegirl..Seriously. That is absolutely great. I love that it took you two and half years to get your belt. I believe in the long road. It's hard to explain the subtle nuances that you glean just from years of hanging around this stuff. And of course no one likes a belt that doesn't fit; I got my blue belt twice! The first time I got it really quick and thought I totally deserved it, but I moved to another state and went to another academy where all the white belts schooled me! So, I took off the blue and started over..it took me a long time to get the second time. But when I did I felt pretty damn unstoppable. Blue is the best belt. Big Props!

| Registered User | Hey guys I have a quick question. I am a muay thai guy ( please, just let me strike you -do not grab me ) and am quite interested in BJJ as well. Could someone tell me the order of the belts in BJJ. Then my congratulations to cakegirl would have a lot more meaning . Thanks |
