    I got my blue belt

After 2 and a half years including highs (the Gracie cruise) and lows (two surgeries and ringworm), I was awarded my blue belt in class today by my instructor, Luke Beston!

I'm 27 - it took me a long time for a whole series of reasons. My instructor changed affiliations, and everyone's rank was held up because of that. I was also out for many months for jaw problems, surgery and recovery, and again for knee problems, surgery and recovery... But I'm there now, and that's what counts!

Congratulations, cakegirl It'll probably be worth it a lot more to you as well, especially with how long it took.

That is really great news cakegirl, congratulations. Blue belt is a big deal, hopefully I'll get one with a few more years of half-assed training.

But I could still tap you .

    Grrr...

Don't you realise - I am a blue belt now, so I am officially a badass and an internet warrior!

Of course I would tap you, and I would do it while painting my toenails and choosing an outfit to wear out on Saturday night.

    HAHAHA!
