Machine Gun Submissions

I got a whole new perspective on the continuous firing of submissions last weekend in LA. I went over to Southbay JJ and went no gi with Ryan Gregg.

Jesus Christ! That guy is one of the slickest dudes I've ever been on the mat with. Just pure Jean Jacques style..aggressive, submission after submission. It really was just like Jean Jacques says--"he may escape the 5th,6th,or 7th...but the 10th..the 20th will get him BAM!"

I would defend and defend and defend and get confused and pow! Done!

It was awesome. I really love getting my ass kicked like that every once in a while. It inspires me..makes me remember what's possible and to what levels we can climb. Jiu-jitsu is badass.

When you said machine gun submissions I thought you were talking about using a higher caliber weapon as blunt weapon to assist in standing armbars or chokes....
