how well do u think the Rock from wwf would do if he were to compete in mma? the rock is an incredible athlete, standing in at 6'4. 250+ lbs. he could probobly destroy most people as it is, but man if he were to train in kickboxing and submission fighting, he would probobly be even more hardcore than he already is. what do u guy think?
wrestling may be fake, but those wrestlers are incredible athletes that have to perform rigorously all the time. they have great strength, speed, and agility. also, for all u people who think muscle mass will slow u down, just look at pro wrestlers. some of em are like body builders, yet they have incredible speed and agility and even perform acrobatic type moves. |

If any of those guys took a year to study intense MMA, they would do really well.

What's his real name then? Or are you just attracted to his character? Superhuman? LOL I've got a "SPECIAL" toolbox for supermen. I call it Ho Hojo Ju-jutsu... It's not for sport or UFC but it is MMA of sorts? Ho-Hojo-jutsu is the art of "gunnery" mixed with the art of "bondage" or in plain English pistol whip and zip ties!

Rock's real name is Dwayne Johnson. He has pretty good cardio. One time WWE did a little feature on his workout routine, unlike a lot of other wrestlers who are just into lifting weights to get bulk, Rock's routine consisted mostly of plyometrics like jumping on boxes of different heights.... chinups...pullups.. pushups... running up stairs.

K-1 may not have jack to do with rugby , but those k-1 fighters are incredible athletes that have to perform rigorously all the time. they have great strength, speed, and agility. also, for all u people who think muscle mass will slow u down, just look at pro heavyweight boxers . some of em are like body builders, yet they have incredible speed and agility and even perform acrobatic type moves. (Threads like this make my brain hurt)

no no , we are talking about The Rock here. your going to need to make your own thread if u want to discuss cro cop playing rugby, dont hi jack my thread lol. anyway, yeah the rocks real name is dwayne johnson and he truly is an incredible athlete. he was a really good football player when he was in college, he has been an athlete all his life. when he later become the People's Champ in wwf, he was in so many of the most rigorous matches there ever were in wwf. his strength, speed, and agility would make him devasting as a fighter. he knows how to wrestle, just immagine if he trained in muay thai, boxing and bjj. what abour Rob Van Dam ? u guys know who that is? he is another pro wrestler who has demonstrated incredible athletic skills, however he also knows martial arts and uses some martial arts moves in the ring. i bet if rob van dam was to compete in mma he would also be an awesome fighter. btw greg, i know posts like these make some peoples heads hurt, however its threads like these that people seem to like most on this forum, so thats why i brought it up lol |

they have a real role to play in keeping up the morale of the modern (and even to ancient times) athlete. That's why gladiators never really freaked in ancient Rome...cuz they had the peace of mind after boning the senators' wives! |
