NHB Gloves, Where to get them, whats the best??

The only NHB gloves I can find are the boxergenics. and I think the Chuck Norris gloves suck. Where can I find some diffrent choices????

Grapplergear.com has the Boxergenics and RevGear gloves. Personally, I prefer the Boxergenics but they are more expensive.
Also, you can find Harbingers...I forgot the webpage. The Harbingers are a full glove and I think they are speed bag gloves so you will have to pull out the metal rob under the fingers.

I have Boxergenics, RevGear and Harbinger. The Harbinger I believe is the same as the Chuck Norris and in my opinion the best of the 3 gloves I mentioned. For the price you pay for the Boxergenics they are kind of flimsy. The RevGear is nice but I wanted a little more hand covering. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have the harbingers, and the only complaint I have is tha t the wrist wrapping get loose during pratice.

BTW, if you use them for vale tudo pratice, get headgear, they do serious bruises.

Why do you feel the Chuck Norris gloves suck? I think they are pretty good. If you take out all the extra crap they put in them.

I have the Chuck Norris, which are same as the Harbingers, and find them to be the best fit, but like UD said, use a mask with these. I've never seen the revgear glove, how does it differ from the boxergenics? I've used the Boxergenics once, and it came off of my finger twice during the fight. I was thinking about getting a pair, but decided against it at Stuarts analysis, who knows, maybe he'll sell it to me...Other than that, when we are working striking we use $10 TKO bag gloves from Champs against the macho headgear. I also often sport thrift shops for used gear, safety equipment, etc., and found two pairs of macho sparring gloves for $3 each. And IMO, these gloves aren't that bad. Definetely worth more than 10-15 dollars if you can find a used set, but once you start talking about $20 and up, there are alot of companies out there that have cheaper gloves.

I just got my xmas present to myself, grappling gloves...two versions, both similar to vale tudo gloves, but one has a two inch padding on the top knuckles. This makes the striking surface similar to a light boxing glove, so we don't have to bust our faces up too much, but still get the hits coming at you without headgear. Everything else is the regular thin padding on the back and open palm 'cept the straps across. The rule is for every 5 fights with the mask, we'll do 1 without, and we use these particular gloves. No names, just in a plastic bag, but I'll try and find out where. Great gloves and only $25 because they aren't brand name.

The big difference between the Boxergenics and the RevGear gloves is in the knuckle and finger holes. The knuckle of the Boxergenics is formed with finger separations. The fingerholes are part and parcel of the upper shell. On the RevGear gloves, the knuckle is just an oval pad with finger loops underneath.
The RevGear does not form around the hand, it only covers it.
I have a cheapo pair of knuckle covers that are similar to the RevGear and they are constantly opening and slipping off my fingers. That doesn't happen to me with the Boxergenics.

Did Boxergenics ever change the finger loop design on their glove? I looked at Stuart's gloves last night, and I just thought the loops were different, but I'm now considering picking up a pair anyway. Anything else negative about using the boxergenics?

I own a Harbinger glove and so far the best I own. Also Ouano came up with a new grappling glove. The best part is it only cost $35. I might consider getting one and find out how good it is.
