Default The Ulitimate Fighter?

I was just interested in knowing what people think of the fighters on this show.

It was interesting to see what each guy had to bring to the game in the way of the tools they've been developing...

I wasn't impressed with the technical skill of the fighters in last fight I saw. The coaches pointers from ringside were cool to listen to but it seemed like they both missed or failed to recognize opportunities to apply a finish technique. A few knee shots and attempted submissions were better than the takedowns and the judges had to pick the least crappy fighter.

I think the blue belts (BJJ) at our local (MMA) academy are better technical fighters than the guys I've seen on Spike TV.

I couldn't agree more. From the three or four episodes I've watched I haven't seen anything to impress me other that the poor calls made by the judges. One fight, if you could call it that, was between Stephen Bonnar and one of the other contestants. The judges Stephen Bonnar the win, depite the spectacular beating he was handed by the other fighter.

Yeyah fopr instance in hte middle wieght semi final, kenny florian vr. chris leben, wow was that a stupid fight to watch. Leben was owning florian untill he landed, probably his only shot adn opened a cut above the eye, stopping the fight and giving him victory, that was rediculus. I mean it was almost guarenteeing the victory for diego sanchez last night. Florian is probably the weakest fighter out of hte house. I was very unimpressed by the heavywiegth fiunal last nigth also, pretty much just swingin widly at each other, although the guys where tough. THat show was a joke. I really liek the contender though seems to be really good cinematography and optherwise.

Just watched the finale show. The one with the shamrock, franklin fight at the end. The first fight was diego vs I cannot recall the name but it was an ok fight, diego manhandled the other guy but decent fight. The griffin, bonard fight was probably one of the best fights I have seen. They just went nuts, both throwing bombs the entire fight. I wish I could see more fights of that quality. It ended up with griffin winning but they both deserved the contract and in a classy move by Dana white, both got one.

I wasn't really surprised with how the shamrock fight ended. Franklin seems to be able to hit pretty hard. But Ken did slip quite a few times.
