Renzo had a fight with a guy named Ben Stryker and at the end he (Renzo) stepped on the back of Strykers neck.
I was wondering if Stryker went on to do any more NHB or if he got hurt or what happened to him?

Anybody got info?

ahhh ben spijkers was a great judoka he fought against renzo and erik paulson. Both matches were lost.
He was on a dutch tv program whit gerard gordaeu and remco pardoel a couple of years ago he did not say much. Gerard did most of the talking

That was a guy I was hoping would go do some crosstraining and come back.He took Renzo down and mounted him.Renzo elevatered him off,but he had him mounted and did it like he had been taking down Renzo for years.Maybe it was just a fluke.How did he do against Paulson?

Bad got armlocked.
I'm still saying if he trained whit better partners and trained more realistik he could have done better

I though he made a pretty good showing too, but the pre-fight comments he made were pretty lame.

i think it was in blackbelt magazine where i read a few years ago that spijkers was on a plane going back home and he didn't like what some stewardess was saying to him so he smacked her up! ha! and this is not bullsh!t, i believe there were charges filed as well.

Seriously, you know I don't troll. I did read that as well. That it was a horrible experience for him. First, he lost, then there was a money issue (either they didn't pay for his plane ticket, or he got shorted money somewhere, something like that) then on the flight home he got into it with a flight attendant and charges were pressed. Pretty bad week for him! It was in Black Belt. If you're interested, I could dig out the old issue and find the article.
