FX3 “X”Plosion (Full Contact Ultimate Mixed Martial Arts Fighting Championships)


Saturday 18th June 2005 @ Rivermead Leisure Complex,
Reading, Berkshire. (Doors open at 5.30pm. 1st bouts starts at 7.00pm)

On the 18th June 2005 FX3 Introduces its new style of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) at the Rivermead Leisure Complex, in Reading, Berkshire UK.

Introducing First the “Battle~Ground”, The worlds first custom made circular 23 foot rope ring, with its circular base and Octagonal 3 levels of rope and 8 turnbuckle similar to the cage the “Battle~Ground” makes for an intimidating but much more visual fighting arena. http://www.freestylefightingfederati...es_gallary.htm

Secondly the new rules that will run in conjunction with the standard NSAC rules which will include a single round scheduled for 10 minutes without any end of round intermissions. Each fighter will however be permitted one 60 second time out that can be called at any point during the bout by the fighters corner as long as both fighters are standing. There is also a new 60 second grappling time limit which will start when both fighters go to the ground, if no submission or knock out has been forced within this time then the referee will return both fighters to their feet. (Unnecessary holding or time wasting will not be permitted)

These new rules have been highly received by the martial arts world and FX3 has been called: -
