The Ultimate in Martial Arts

It's about time! HUMBOLDT RUMBLE in Hoopa Ca. will host the first MMA event on the north coast. Our local BJJ academy will have a couple of guys in this event. There is a fighter out of Hoopa, a former HS wrestling champ scheduled to compete. And also there are a few more fighters coming from Medford, Oregon to fill the fight card. If that's not enough there is an all female fight scheduled too! Should be interesting!

Anyone here going to the Redwoods next Saturday?

That is cool....I went to University at Humboldt State....Hoopa is up in the Indian Reservation! That is wild! Willow Creek, Sasquatch Country! Tant, do you train with Hal Faulkner in McKinleyville???

Small world, eh? No, I don't train with Hal but I've been to his academy many times, I have several hours of home video of Hal instructing his classes and was actually by there last Thursday to introduce a co-worker and hook him up with a couple free lessons...Next best thing to a real Judo club. LOL
