![]() | http://www.diegobeltran.com/htms/oyama/oyamalegend.htm I for one have always believed Mas Oyams Kyokushinkai Karate to be very effective. In my opinion Mas Oyama was the strongest Karateka ever. And he would have destroyed Bruce Lee & Chuck Lidell in his youth. |

![]() | "Mas Oyama was known throughout Japan for his ability to wrestle (1-2) and defeat charging bulls with his bare hands. " WTF? why a bull? Let me get this right, he spent two years in the mountains by himself. Now, he can wrestle bulls, make you wounder what he was upto.

Pretty good in Judo. Also Oyama was like Count Koma (taught the Gracie), he did the challenge thing and used to fight boxers back then in NHB fight. He left a huge legacy that make any Karatekas proud e.g K1 Filho. Now can you claim your school did better?

![]() | No, i cant claim that, nor did I in the offset. Just I thought it was strange for a man to lock himself into a wooden shack in the mountains, no human contact, and wrestle bulls. I can appreciate what he has done for karate. ( and it was posted as a joke.)
