They should weigh whatever they weigh. By that there is no "set" weight. Typically, your best dogs are between 30 and 50 lbs. in condition, with 35-45 being the most common range.
The dog pictured above is 30.5 lbs. This is her brother at 40 lbs. He would be about 36 lbs lean and in shape: ![]() |
