I'm quite new to mma as i live in england and it isn't exactly huge over here, i was wondering just exactly what the rules were?
I'm guessing: no pressure point striking, no eye gouging, no finger locks, no hair-pulling, no biting, no groin strikes, no kicking opponent on ground, no side kicks to knee? Is that about right? I've seen a load of low round kicks, so i'm guessing low stamping kicks 'aint allowed.... |

Those are the basic rules, but they vary from event to event. Some allow pressure point striking, kicking an opponent on ground, & any type of kicking. Side kicking a guy's knee is usually not a problem because in reality it's such an impractical thing to do. Although usually not technically illegal, good sportsmanship prevents it. |
