Default Aiki Biking

Hello All,

I am new to the forum and was looking for some information on Aiki Biking. I am an unranked student in this art but understand that there are some master-level (5th dan and above) practitioners who frequent this forum.

If anyone here can help, please contact me. I am also looking for information on herbal supplementation for improved contentration and potency.

Best wishes,
Kozmo

The Art of No-Handed Biking AKA Aiki-Biking

By: GrandMaster Chee "The Healing Machine" Xiong

Dedicated to: Shannon Logan

Analysis of the day: Human beings are very intelligent, there is no way that you could record all the Katas of the Human nature unless you're God...the closest way is to collect the most important Katas and use a strong Kernel that can respond to all the different moves and their variations.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Turns:
- Snake Turn
- Corner Turn
- Circle Turn
- Hip Turn
- Lean Turn
- Pen Turn
- Cross Turn
- Flying Cross Turn
- Leaning Cross Turn
- Leg Turn (Ashi-Turn, Ashi is the Japanese term for "Leg"...before Ashi was used, I call it HeliKi)
- Flying Leg Turn (Invented on 4-16-02, this technique is also known as The Place in honor of Ms.Place who was teaching in those days, it can also be call The Heather in honor of former Teen Teamworks co-worker Heather who motivated me to invent this technique)
- U Turn

* Controls: (Ability to control the bike while doing something)
- Punches and Snap kicks
- Withstand Shout (For the begginers who can be distracted by someone shouting at them)
- Arms in Shirt
- Aiki-Biking and Writing

- Flapping Knee Balance
- Any Pedal (Ability to go no-handed even on two pedals that have been wore to the metal bar support)
- Swimming Arm Balance
- Master Aiki on 2+ Bikes
- Hold 5+ Books
- Aiki-Waza by the Curve
- Left Osoto-Gari
- Tie your Shoe (Tying your shoes while biking with no hands)

* Positions:
- Guard => Ukemi
- Kimura's Side Control (It kind of look like the Side Control Kimura use on Helio Gracie)
- Kneebar
- Heliocopter Knee

- The Grip

* Landings:
- Side Land
- Drop Land

* Aiki-Waza:

- Leg Lane Change
- Side Falling Leg ukemi
- Osoto Ashi
- Flying Ashi
- Knee Ashi
- Heliocopter Ashi
- Weaving Ashi
- Kick Ashi
- The Shannon Hindu (This is the lastest technique named in Shannon Logan's Honor, while chatting with Shannon yesterday...she say that she put her "sexy" legs on one side of the bike and no handed.......this is my version of it, it looks like a Hindu posture so I added Hindu to it)

* Nage-Waza:
- Nage (Stand up with no hands...I cannot do this with my bike)
- Side Nage (This technique was used to defeat me last spring, stand with no hand and both legs are on one side of the bike...I cannot do this with my bike)

This is the basic kata list and technique overview. As I said, I am a student of this art so all of this is already known to me.

Are there any ranked masters on this forum who would like to exchange advanced techniques?

I can bike with no hands.... one time I rode like 4k Up and down hills and around corners in a row with no hands... its pretty cool trick, although not very hard.

I can also ride standing up with no hands... down hills is a little sketchy but it works....

My comments on no handed biking.

I rode 14km from my house to my mother's house yesterday. I didn't do any of it no-hands, but there were little hills, and I had to avoid some ducks that were on the path. Sometimes I let go of one hand to adjust my headphones, and once I stopped to answer my phone. Am I a master?

Nah masters ride standing on their handle bars..

(I have a video of this if you dont believe me)

Im sorry cake girl, but without no hands on the bike your not close to master, you will have to keep practicing, unless you were doing a one hander in the air, which puts you higher up, or a no hander in the air works too.

lol 14 kilometres... actually thats probably more than most people can ride.. I can ride it but not that fast lol, I dont really like the "pedalling" aspect of biking.

You should check out the Tour De France, each stage is like 150 kilometres or something... its retraded... they go 50 Kilometres an hour on their bike.. insane...

What freaks me out about Tour de France is the downhill parts, where they go soooo fast! I'm afraid of going downhill on these tiny little hillocks around my parts...

Downhills awesome if you ask me, but I prefer it in a forest with drops and stuff, Id rather fly down a hill in the forest and drop 8 feet then ride down a mountain road with those tiny little tires.
