2 years ago I got thrown with my left arm locked out. The elbow snapped like a carrot and I was out for about 2 weeks, then I gradually began training again.
The past two weeks my elbow has been bothering me. I've been training a lot more frequently (+200% more often) and a few days ago I got thrown weirdly in Judo and I felt a burning sensation in my left elbow. (We were practicing on the crash mats and the guy messed up the throw and I landed weird). I notice that it makes a popping noise if I rotate the arm but it doesn't hurt. So I keep training. Today I went to Jiu-Jitsu, trained for about an hour, everything was fine. I notice when someone pushes me elbow or moves my arm I feel kind of like a stinging pain in my elbow but it's not bad so I just keep rolling. I get home. 2 hours later my arm just gets this shooting pain from the elbow to the forearm. It's not hurting as bad now but I've had it immobilized for about 3 hours. If I bend it or twist it at a certain point, the pain is intense. I know the internet isn't exactly the best place for a medical diagnosis, but has anyone experienced anything similar? It's as if the elbow is injured, but my forearm is also giving me strange fits. If I just position my arm a certain way it feels like a biting pain in my forearm. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow, so I will be taking a week off of training to rest, so hopefully it just goes away.

This is some pretty obvious advice but you should go into a doctor and see whats up with your arm.. Maybe they can give or do something for it.. At least get it taken care of right so you can let it heal to train another day.. you shouldnt just ignore it..

I'm not a doctor and I haven't experienced what your talking about but since your forearm is hurting too it is quite possible that you pinched a nerve in your elbow which is causing the pain in the forearm and elbow. Of course, this could be something more serious so I'd take mixwell's advice and see a doctor.

Go to the doctor. Minor things get major if you don't rest long enough. Major things never heal 100% if you don't rest long enough. Only a doctor can diagnose it and tell you the appropriate time to lay off.

I talked to my grandpa who is a D.O. and we think the most likely culprit is a pinched nerve in my neck or elbow.
I'm going to wait until Monday to see if it subsides, and if not, then seek treatement. The most obvious choice is an Ortho. but I'm also thinking about acupuncture. Does anyone have experience with Acupuncture? I know a lot of athletes use it....

why dont you just go to the doctors ? your health should be your main conern.. you shouldnt put it off to see if it feels better.. if you wanted to do acupuncture you should do it after you see a doctor to help the healing process out even more.. I mean its your body but why wouldnt you want to just go in ASAP and get it taken care of ?

As you said you you have to take time off anyway, so whats the point in waiting to go to the doctor and seeing if its serious right away.
You could take the whole week off and find out its major, or find out its major and then have to take another week off. Im sure the hour it takes to go to the doctor is worth first of all the peace of mind, and second of all taking care of the risk of that second week off. I always wondered why that spiketv channel is plagued with the spike tv check up or check out thing, with men urging every guy to go to the doctor... I always thought who wouldnt go to the doctor if they thought something was up, or even if they didnt get a check up every once in awhile, now I see why they need em. (no offense or anything)

you need to find yourself a doctor who specializes in sports medicine. It does sound like a pinch nerve, but it could also be tendonitis.
