cutting edge
are there people these days who are on the cutting edge of martial art? people who are training places with people of all martial arts, refining thier own systems and bringing thier own style and self expression to everything? there was a guy (forget his name and the martial art name) who did this in hawaii with people of all different martial arts, where they sparred and learned and really pushed martial arts.

Well Id like to think I try to do that... but im not some martial arts hero or something if thats what your looking for.
Im not gonna make any innovative discoveries like bruce lee or anything like that, but I try to expand my horizons with all arts, and take whatever I think I can use effectively and put it to use whenever I spar/roll/fight.

hey cool I'm glad to know that you are out there doing that. I think it is great when people try all they can and refine themselves and really show style.
about this matt thornton guy, i cant seem to find too much info on him besides the fact that he is a BJJ instructor or something |
