Default Jacare

just watched him mop up his weight class at the ADCC, he has to be the best BJJ guy around right now, he lost in the Absolute class finals to ROger Gracie, but regardless, he made the guys in his weight class look like white belts. there is no one that can beat this guy at his weight, is there?

Jacare is world class but he is not invincible.

In recent tournaments, he has lost but he's still awesome.

I helped out at ADCC both days so I should be in the background, standing around doing nothing but watching some great matches....

The guy I talked the most to was Ricco, the one that everyone likes to hate.
I wanted to chat with more of the athletes but they were all in the zone, trying to keep their focus before their matches. I got a chance to talk to Jacare but his English is limited, I don't speak almost any Portugese but we were able to communicate in Spanish. Super humble dude.

I hope to get the DVD's soon.

yeah he is impressive, they were saying he has won everything he competed in this year. Roger Gracie was very impressive too. And Marcelo Garcia of course. YEa, get the DVDs, they are 10 times better than last years (the quality of the recording), which were 10 times better than the year before.
What was with Ricco slamming Marelo Garcia, thought he should be DQ'd for that, then they restarted them in a strange position? Ricco looked very frustrated, all he had to do was pull guard like Jacare did and overpower him.

Jacare's a little crazy too: not tapping to armbars and such... Roger broke Jacare's arm last year, but Jacare wouldn't tap. he got up, held his belt to keep his busted arm from flopping around and hightailed it around the mat until time ran out, AND WON ON POINTS!!!

I think threre is something disturbing about that, but maybe it's just envy. why would someone conciously make the coice to have his bones broken, when all he needs to do is tap and take 2nd... Take first next time...
