Default What is the best grappling/ground fighting form?

whatt is the best grappling/ground fighting form? I have been doing muay thai for about 3 months now. Muay thai will teach me my stand up, but i want to learn the ground game also. I have heard of gracie jui jitsui, regular jui jitsu, Sambo, judo,Combat submission wrestling, and other forms of wrestling. There are probaly other forms i also haven't heard of. I just want some opinions, what do u think is the best grappling/ground fight form?

I am taking Muay Thai as well as BJJ. I think BJJ is the best ground fighting style period. All styles have there strength and weakness. A wrestler might be better at taking down or throwing. Likewise other styles have their strength and weaknesses. On the ground I tell you this much BJJ rules. Cross train in American Boxing as well as wrestling to improve your MT and BJJ skills and then you will be a true fighter that will be extremely difficult to beat. Shooto is an all round great art in my opinion but since you know MT go with learning BJJ.

IMO it is the best but it would be wise not to tell everybody offline it's the best. Just say it's one of the best. BJJ is the shit though, stick with it.

Id go with BJJ for your GROUND game, and good ol fashin Wrasslin for your clinch/takedown.... very important parts of the game as well... wrasslin wont hurt your ground game either just give you great control from the top.
