Default Funny thing

I just got a call back from the KM school. Suyon is out of the country visiting his family, not sure when he will be back but they will let me know. I also called the Olympic gym they said no to BJJ, so that indeed is an old listing.

Its all good, thanks for your help.

just to give u some encouragement, we have a purple belt at our school who is well into his 40's. he is in awesome shape and is one badass on the mat. and he only started a few years ago. a purple belt aint no joke, thats a serious rank to have in ju jitsu. dont let your age get u down man, u still have many years of training to look foreward to. and training hard along with a healthy lifestyle will keep u in shape and strong and slow the effects of aging substantially. we also have a pretty good blue belt who is also in his 40's. ive also seen many men in their 40's competing in ju jitsu tournaments. plus, ju jitsu is pretty physical, but its the technique that matters most. its the knowledge of these techniques that are more important than physical attributes. thats why anyone can train in ju jitsu and learn to use it effectively.

dont take privates, train with a class if possible. u will miss out on meeting alot of really cool people and making new friends. also u will get experience in grappling with all kinds of diff people with different bodies and different sizes. i love sitting in a corner of the mat, just talkin and crackin jokes with some of the people in ju jitsu in between rolling. u meet people from all walks of life in a dojo, and alot of em are really awesome and getting to know them makes training even better.
