In terms of phoning Roger, the number is available online anyway - his academy is based in London, and listed on www.gracie-barra.co.uk, so don't worry - it's freely available.

I'm sure that if you're polite, and explain that you want to test your ability, then they will discuss your options. But remember that he doesn't have anything to prove, and isn't obliged to accept a challenge.

A field? Are you crazy? I know how that works.

This isn't the 1940's, where people fought peacefully with only baseball bats, chains and knives to prove their pontiac gang was tougher than the mustange gang across town.

Dont you have somewhere where you can fight people...like a gym, or a house? Maybe have the camera mounted..I dont know..sounds logical to me.

Yeah Gong Fu, his family is probably pretty used to having people challenge them. I think they've been doing that sort of thing for a little better than 75 years now.
I didn't think he'd win either way, no matter who he challenged.

Roger with an "H" sound is a dead give-away that the guy's brazillian...Brazillian, martial artist, family used to getting challenges, with R "H" first names...??? yeah...Gracies.

oh my god...if he fights with this kid...ouch. That's almost too unethical. Um...naw, a challenge is a challenge. That would be like having Mike Tyson spar a girlscout.

Video feed...gimme video...feed...feed me seymour...!

Somebody stop him...I really am beginning to worry about his safety.

Maybe he's too dumb to know any better...or too young...or something.
Hopefully Roger won't hurt him too bad...

Is it too late to save this kid?

first of all, i ment i have studied martiala rts since i was 3 or 4 years old, not 3 quarters of a year old, sorry for the missunderstanding, secondly i dont study ju jitsu i have heard of the gracie name yes, and i dont fear soemone because of a reputation, or there fmaily name or style they practise, i do not care if people critisize or dissrespect me either, why should i not want to fight someone who is "good"? the whole point is i want a challenge, i dont want to fight some kid who done martial arts for a few years and thinks he is daniel son, i want to fight someone who could beat me otherwise where is the challenge?, and yes im automaticly seen as weak or inexperienced to you people, because all you see is someone typing on a forum, you havent seen the countles years of training and battle experience ive had, so prejudge me if you must, but those who underestimate are not wise fighters,

i learn from defeat, and gain from victory, either way i get something out of a fight, could be death or perminant injury, but this is the life i lead im a fighter, i trained with boxers, mixed martial artists, tai chi people, gong fu masters, shaolin monks, judo students, karate students, ninjitsu students, im a well rounded martial artist, and you people obviously underestimate people, and to underestimate someone who has been training for just under 20 years is foolish, if your a real fighter then you must know that all answers are settled in the fight itself, and anything could happen, a fight one thing alone, and thats unpredictable, i could beat this gracie guy, i could get beaten badly, who are you to say wich will happen, its foolish behaviour to assume a loss or a win when 2 trained fighters do battle.

and garland could you stop reffering to me as a kid, i have a kid of my own on the way, im not old im 21, but calling me a kid is kinda dissrespectfull,
dont judge a book by its cover, and on this point, you havent even seen the cover to judge the book, so dont judge the cover before youve seen it, then when you have seen it, dont judge the book by its cover.

I am so glad you find this amusing, automaticly seen as weak or inexperienced to you people because all you see is someone typing on a forum you have not seen the countles years of training and battle experience I have had so prejudge me if you must but those who underestimate are not wise fighters i learn.
