Foot Stomps

Are these allowed in UFC or other cage/octagon fights? Seems like if you are getting pinned up against the fence you could be pretty distracting if you dropped a few heel strikes to your opponent's feet.

It seems like they're not allowed in either the UFC, KOTC, and WEF. The only time I've seen it was in pride tournaments. Wanderlei made it very popular over there.

yes they are allowed and people do them all the time.....but they never did anything at all except waste energy.

foot stomps are done in the ring with little result all the time. you get a different reaction on a hard surface

Your allowed to use foot stomps in the ufc...

What I meant by foot stomps was actually stomping on the other person's feet with your heel.

yep, thats what we called useless. i don't think they'd really be useless it's just they don't lead to a knockout, only make the guy sprawl away, and put his chin down. They don't make him really do anything advantageous 4 u. and yeah they are legal in the UFC some guy with big ears used to do it, i think his name wuz marcus or something but dont quote me on his name.
