| Registered User | Rickson Gracie and Funaki Masakatsu for wasting my time. That was honestly THE WORST fight I've ever seen. What makes it even worse is the japanese anoucers going nutz about absolutly nothing. A lazy body shot GAHHH! hugehnijifanacoocoo nasdhfadksjhfad!!!! They accutally zoom in on a two on one wrist grab and show some guy with his eyes wide open, like it's some deadly new tripple kicking double back flip. I can't belive I acctually thought a Rickson Gracie fight would be fun to watch. What a waste.

I havent seen any, maybe the Zulu fight, or the one where Rickson beats 'the giant killer', a tiny man who is great on the ground. A young Rickson training with BTT or some other great team of MMA guys would be the #1 at 185lbs or near the top. The Rickson from back then wouldnt fare as well. While he was ahead of the game in his day, the games advanced and Rickson hasnt. He would have killed Bas Rutten however, it would have been not much different that the Ken Shamrock "owning" of Bas. I dont think Rickson was any better than Mario Sperry or marco Ruas back in the day, which woulda been 1990-1996, at MMA | |

![]() | Hey Eyegouge - thanks for saving me a few quid. I'll not be buying that now. How about 'Choke'? From what I can remember there's some good stuff on it, including Rickson somersaulting over some guys head to avoid a takedown, and that awesome little Jap guy that just doesn't give up. I know it's outdated now, but I still enjoy watching it... |
