Default Worst fight I've ever Downloaded.

I just downloaded a 2000 fight between rickson gracie and funaki masakatsu. The first six or 7 minutes they stand in the corner and barley touch each other. When it goes to the ground it's ha ha! i kick you in the foot MUH HAW HAW....back to stand up, and back to ground with maybe 2 punches or knees in the transition. Then it's rickson beating up a freaking sloth named funaki. the lil bitch dosen't even fight back. Then a rear naked choke. It's over and almost 13 minutes of my life has been wasted and I can never get it back.

Rickson Gracie and Funaki Masakatsu for wasting my time. That was honestly THE WORST fight I've ever seen.

What makes it even worse is the japanese anoucers going nutz about absolutly nothing. A lazy body shot GAHHH! hugehnijifanacoocoo nasdhfadksjhfad!!!! They accutally zoom in on a two on one wrist grab and show some guy with his eyes wide open, like it's some deadly new tripple kicking double back flip.

I can't belive I acctually thought a Rickson Gracie fight would be fun to watch. What a waste.

I havent seen any, maybe the Zulu fight, or the one where Rickson beats 'the giant killer', a tiny man who is great on the ground.
A young Rickson training with BTT or some other great team of MMA guys would be the #1 at 185lbs or near the top. The Rickson from back then wouldnt fare as well. While he was ahead of the game in his day, the games advanced and Rickson hasnt. He would have killed Bas Rutten however, it would have been not much different that the Ken Shamrock "owning" of Bas.
I dont think Rickson was any better than Mario Sperry or marco Ruas back in the day, which woulda been 1990-1996, at MMA

bas would knock the shit out of rickson with relative ease......this is assuming you are talking about the bas who didnt know how to grapple.Bas was "owned" by shammy in their first fight and got sub by kneebar in like 1 minute 45 sec or something like that....he trained grappling for about 6 months and they had a rematch in which ken caught bas with a rear naked choke.....after about 18 minutes.Bas now a days would kill rickson and ken easily.

yes the Bas back then had no ground game, why he called out Rickson was unknown, but what was known is that Bas would have been controlled, slapped, then submitted. The Bas nowasdays is old, so RIck, so is Ken.....I take Ken these days over either one of them just because he is still so active.

sapatiero is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Choke?

Hey Eyegouge - thanks for saving me a few quid. I'll not be buying that now.

How about 'Choke'? From what I can remember there's some good stuff on it, including Rickson somersaulting over some guys head to avoid a takedown, and that awesome little Jap guy that just doesn't give up.

I know it's outdated now, but I still enjoy watching it...

Lets remember that Ken got Dropped by Saku....i know ther was alot of controversy and whatever but the fact remains Saku Tagged him and dropped him.....Bas hits 100x harder and faster then Saku and they are all around the same age anyway....Bas right now would maul shamrock.A prime Bas and a Prime Ken now that would be a treat.
