I'm not a WANNABEE and I am not gonna claim to be the World Champion with an undefeated record. In fact, I come from the school of hard knocks, a streetfighter, fighting to survive not for money or trophies but to stay alive. My Black Belt is in Japanese Jujitsu but I have cross trained in several arts. I have been in dozens and dozens of REAL FIGHTS thus my unarmed combat experience is intensive. I teach self defense; not sport martial art. I could name drop and tell you all of the Grandmasters I have met and trained with but that would only get me in trouble; for what else--Name dropping. LOL
You said you teached jujitsu in private lessons so I just wanted to know if you knew any other arts but do not teach them ;p

I'm only "Qualified" to teach Japanese Jujitsu. The other arts I cross trained in---Well, I never reached Expert level.

Thanks for not trolling and clearing up that misunderstanding.

^very witty!

Hey Hardball, does it feel great to persue your passion?

Do you make a living doing this?

What kind of a room do you train in? (like is it just your living room? or do you teach outside of your home? or is it your room converted into a "dojo" with mats ect...)

Yea, it feels great to be living a boyhood dream. I was about 14 or 15 when Kung Fu starring David Carradine was a smash hit show. (the slow motion shots were awesome.) I was about 10 or 12 When the Green Hornet was on t.v. (Bruce Lee {r})

I earn a small amount of money, I only teach part time. I'm a staff accountant full time. $$$$$

My basement is converted into a dojo complete with wavemasters, heavy bags, timing balls, speed bag, judo mats and a library. In the warm months, I like to take the mats out in the backyard.

I hope to build up my teaching business before retirement as a staff accountant; then use the extra money for hobbies.
