All the up and commers are getting the shit kicked out of them by the superstars. There are only 1 or 2 fighters in the classes that are just superb fighters and the rest are average hence all the repeat matches.

Forrest Griffin could fight someone, but hes not close to fighting a chuck, a randy , or a babalu... they should actually feed Griffin to Babalu.. then get Babalu to fight Chuck for the belt after Randy retires with it....

Joe Steveson had a serious injury in his fight with Cuommo and has more skill than he displayed in his fight with Luke.

Also, I don't what criteria you're judging on to say Diego didn't beat Diaz, but since Diego was getting all the takedowns, passing the guard, getting Diaz's back, and had the closet sub with an armbar from guard I think that qualifies him as beating Diaz.

People may hate Diego, but Diego is just not some flash in the pan. Forrest will fight Tito next, unfortunately, Tito will get an easy takedown and lay n pray decision or cut stoppage from elbows. Tito should be fighting guys like Travis Wiuff, Mike Van Arsdale, and Babalu.

Forrest should be fighting guys like Vernon White and Marvin Eastman. Sudo fights for K-1, and Mir is facing Pe de Pano next month before Arlovski.

I understand Diego won according to the way they score in the UFC, I said im not sure who won the fight....

If youll notice in my previous post, the part where I said.. "I knew they were going to give it to diego"... it was clear it would go to him.. he did better according to their rules ... however....

Diego got takedowns.... you think a brown belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu is afraid to be on his back... Diaz obviously had the better striking, so it was smart for Diego to put him on his back... but still .. Diaz is fine on his back... Diego didnt have the superior position being In Diaz's gaurd...

second of all... I dont know when Diego actually passed Diaz's gaurd... but if you say he did....

also, have you ever seen anyone as active, kicking, punching, and working for submissions from their gaurd... the only other person I can think of is Big Nog... according to the ufc judging criteria diego won, I knew he would before they announced the decision.... I still dont think either of them had beat the other one yet...


Oh and whether or not Joe Stevenson was hurt, he should have walked through Luke cummo... Joe was my favorite after Jorge Gurgel on the show... I knew he would dominate.... but to compare him to matt hughes.. cmon..

I want to see vitor back in the running again. I think Diego could have a chance at the title, he seems to be in control with anyone when he is on the ground. Aren't Griffin and tito training partners? Would be unlikely to see a fight between them any time soon. Would be cool too see a lawler and louiseau fight. I would put money on louiseau but would be an interesting fight none the less.

There are tons of people that haven't fought in a while, why not have some TUF 1 vs TUF 2 matches that would probably bring in some viewers.

But I would like to see Liddel Couture 3, it sorta has to happen. Each of them won it once, so its sort of the best 2 out of 3. Its gotta happen one of them has to be the definite champ.

I agree with you, though I'm not sure who to put Rashad with. Maybe Edwin Dewees? (sp?) Two tough little guys who like to scrap...could be interesting.

But either way I'd like to see more of Rashad too! , there's some serious potential in that kid, and wow he improved drastically over the show...

Dewees fights at 185 and when he did fight at lhw he was still in the 190s so he's much too small for the lhw division.
Rashad should fight Steven Bonnar or even better Sam Hogar I think he would outstrike Sam and dominate him overall.

No, Griffen and Tito have never been training partners Griffen is from GA and trains there Tito is from CA and trains there.

Diego should fight Chris Lytle, Lytle is the UFC's go to 170 guy who is got enough skill to test anyone, if he defeats Lytle he can go on to bigger fish.

Samurai, Diego passed Diaz's guard like twice and mounted him for a second, but was immediately put back into guard. Yes, Diaz was active from guard, but he was effective, no, throwing your legs up and being unable to even secure a high guard much less a sub is not indictative of Diaz earning a win for that.

Also, like I said before, Diego's armbar from guard was closer than any sub that Diaz tried all night, not to mention, Diego getting Diaz's back a couple times. Diego dictated where the fight went and was more aggressive and closer to ending the fight.

Babalu would kill Tito, and I think Babalu will kill Liddel if he ever gets the chance again. One mistake and he got KO'd. But hes beaten the best guys in the world time after time, Babalu has to be one of the best.
Mir can take Arlovski, thats for sure. But Mir got hurt, so how he comes back from that year off is serious business,. he may have lost some timing, conditioning, all sorts of stuff. He needs a warm up fight for sure

Forrest will beat down Vernon White. I think Forrest will beat Tito also. I hope he gets the chance.

Diego is good, but hes young and needs some experience. In time, he will be one of the best ever. His jiu-jitsu is pretty good as displayed with Diaz. A seasoned Diego will own Hughes, actually, I think Diego could beat Hughes now, without question. Penn vs Diego would be straight up bad ass
