Disclaimer: This thread wasn't started to create controversy or instigate a flame war, so if you have something really nasty to say, keep it to yourself.

Over the last couple of years, MMA/Vale tudo competitions have become quite popular. However, many people have become so caught up in what works in the ring/octagon, that people have started to abandon their individual arts and instead use whatever has worked inside the ring. In MMA, diversity is becoming a problem as people now clamor to have the so-called "godly" combination of Muay Thai/BJJ/Boxing. People need to find what's right for them, experiment, and combine stuff themselves.

Thus, many MMA drones loyally and ignorantly follow whatever works in the octagon and ring. Many MMA guys are so closed minded that they often disrespect anything that isn't MT BJJ or Boxing.

Peopel need to be more like Bruce Lee. His main style: Wing Chun. He constantly experimented and found himself influenced b many other things
