Couture because he's god.

Couture's an amazing athlete, a fantastic wrestler, and he's beat Liddell before. I think the fight that Liddell won would've gone differently if the eye poke had'nt happened.

At the begining of this thread I was thinking that I would be the first to go with Chuck but it looks like I'm not.

I think Chuck will knock him out again. He is very good at not getting taken down and he's just been on a tear. While Randy does always recover from a loss with a win, I'm sure Chuck will be ready too. Also, just to get it off my chest, I'm kinda over hearing people whine about the eye poke. I really doubt that it's intentional, instead more likely a result of the type of gloves worn and a particular punching style. In the R vs. C II fight it looked like just puching the head away defensively and accidentally having it slip that way.

So anyay, while I have the utmost respect for Randy I'm gonna have to go with Chuck. His striking, while unorthodox, does have a way of finding the chin after he gets his range set.

Also, I'm a muay thai guy. (And in highschool all my friends who wrestled who put me in the cradle all the time. I hate the cradle.)

People dont like Chuck Eyedell not because of his thumb jabbing on randy couture.. but repeated thumb jabbing..

Vernon Tiger White.. said he got thumb jabbed..

Tito clearly got thumb jabbed before he was knocked out..

Randy clearly got thumb jabbed..

and I personally think this was just chucks fist hitting his eye socket but Horn said he couldnt see out of his eye since hte first round..

Thats why people think its a bit... funny.. about chuck and eyes..

I don't think the technique was being used for "DEFENSE"

I wouldn't call that a joke either, but it sure does look like one when you mix it up with a game Lidell...
