Default Fighting style for Sais?

I know traditionally they used 3 sais(one behind back on belt after youve thrown one).

But I couldent find anything on a fighting style.

This is the MMA and Brazilian Jujutsu forum. Not to be an ass, I was new at one point as well, but I don't think you'll find an answer here. Try posting this question in the Japanese forum.

This is the most popular thread, but mainly grappling and MMA competiton are discussed. Sais are very traditional.

Hello,

From what I understand sais were originally from Indonesia and were used as a weapon against longer weapons possibly against spears...one can probably utilize this weapon during close quarter to clinch maybe ground?

The Indonesian cabang (tjabang) or trisula, is quite similar to the OKINAWAN sai. The Chinese also have their own version of this weapon.

Yep. This isn't the right forum for this, but don't worry. If it's a problem, a moderator will bump it to another forum.

*Perfect anti-traditional comment.

PS: How did I mistake those little gain slicer things (sythe?) for SAIS, I am getting bad on my weapon knowledge, I should stop sniffing so much glue.
