Yeah, there's an instructor who works part time at Timmy Chan's as a fried rice cook. But he since retired.

Did you really tell him to get into some streetfights and see how he does?

MMA IS NOT THE STREET!!

That's the dumbest f'ing advice I have ever heard. What if he picks the wrong guy and gets shot, or stabbed, or beatdown by 20 of the other guy's friends? I'm sure you don't give a **** about that being on your conscience.



Bottom line, 16 is young. Go do some BJJ, boxing, muay thai, whatever's close to you. Let your teacher know you're interested in contact training and want to get into MMA...they can point you in the right direction and set you up somewhere where you can practice and improve SAFELY.

yeah i also wanted to add that omoplatas advice to this youngster was horrible. telling this 16 year old kid to go searching for street fights to test himself is wrong. street fights can get you killed, you should do everything you can to avoid them. test yourself on the mat, or in a ring, not on the street.
