I've been hearing about grappling dummys but I've never really seen them. I'm in tkd but I also try practicing grappling and jujitsu at home with books and stuff but I dont have anyone to train with. A grappling dummy sounds like a good idea but I've never really seen one or heard of how to build it. Does anyone know how to build one? Many thanks.

This doesn't really answer your question but do you have a friend or relative that wouldn't mind working with you? Maybe one of the other guys in your TKD class?Originally Posted by fastandfurious
I love to roll outside of class as well as inside so I have a friend that wrestled in high school a bit who I roll and work with. My g/f is getting into it so we train a bit as well. Plus there is a great deal of feedback that I don't think that dummy will give ya'.![]()
Well I dont really think I could train with anyone cause like I dont really know anyone in my tkd class well and my brother doesnt like to train with me cause hes like 50 pounds less than I am lol. Thanks for the advice though. but what is a wrestling dummy? anyone know?
Buy a 150lb Muay Thai heavy bag and use it as a grappling dummy.

There you go man. Hop in and meet someone next class. It might make the class more enjoyable.Originally Posted by fastandfurious

There's a grappling dummy called "bubbah"... My bf has created his own using some cushions, a long-sleeved t-shirt, some rolled up towels and an old gi top.
