![]() | Well since no one really commented on my little weekend warrior thread (with the exception of YeLLa TiGeR, thanks buddy ) I'll take it as you all agree ![]() seriously though I was thinking of posting this to get some opinions... How many of you do not like the fact that Kurt Angle is now involved with the WWF? Do you think it's all in fun, and money, or do you think the ridicule of "crying at the olympics", his wrestling ability, etc are sad to see, and downplay the respect that real wrestlers are already lacking? Kurt Angle was a hell of an athelete, and in my personal opinion I do not like seeing him there. A lot of people don't really know the difference between real wrestling and WWF ballets. It seems that there is a lot of downplay of real olympic wrestlers on the show... just what I get from it. I welcome any opinions. Take care, Ryu |

![]() | Did any of you see his post olympic spot on Letterman? He said winning the gold was great except for the fact he smelled like Sand negro. Except he didnt use negro. It was the funniest thing I have heard on Letterman. I am shocked some of these groups dont dig it up and use it as a call to ban the WWF. |

![]() | Kurt Engle is hilarious in the wwf. It is a soap opera for men. The wwf tells you it is fake. It is sports entertainment. Congrats to Kurt for making a good living. If he didn't do that he would be coaching at some high school or university. Not to demean wrestling coaches but he is having more fun and is able to provide for his family in a way that many of us never could. |

![]() | No problem Ryu! If I was Kurt, I'd take the job that pays more, simple as that! Nothing wrong with that, but I dont like MMA being lumped together with amatuer wrestling and MMA! |

![]() | I feel like most of you guys. Kurt has proven he's for real and he deserves a shot at the big money. He keeps me entertained. By the way, have they changed WWF Raw to another day? Its been missing on USA the past couple weeks. Hawk

![]() | Hawk, WWF Raw is now on TNN and is shown at an earlier time (at least for Hawaii).

![]() | I think it's still shown at the same time in all areas, excluding Hawaii. I personally don't see anything wrong with him being in the WWF. I like the fact that he's actually making some money and not working at Home Depot. On top of that, he'll truly be famous now and people will KNOW he was an Olympic champion. Before, they wouldn't have been able to identify him. |

![]() | Hawk, I just found this out earlier today too. My bro was telling me during lunch. Anyways, I don't see any problem with Angle makin' a few (quite a few) bucks in the sports entertainment business. It may not do much to prove actual athletic, or fighting ability, but it works wonders when the bills arrive . I never really saw any of his Olympic matches. In fact, I didn't know who he was when he first showed up to the WWF (I usually watch with the volume off while I draw). All I knew was that he was doing moves that I knew didn't come from professional wrestling. I was impressed by just that.

| Novice | Well, Kurt Angle is going to be on KROQ 106.7FM on Monday morning with Kevin and Bean and of course Money the sports guy for any of you guys in the LA, Orange county areas. BTW, I think Kurt is more famous now then he ever was as a champion wrestler, more power to him, he pretty much has it all, money, fame, and more money.-ED |

![]() | well I'm a HUGE pro wrestling fan but sometimes I do get the feeling that the whole Angle/olympics angle DOES downplay and berate REAL wrestling.....thats why I only go for the crowd haters.....Benoit, right to censor, Raven and Taz, etc.... f**k the rock, triple H, and all those f**king goody goody boys..... I think my most HATED person in the WWF though is THE DAMN DUDLEYS!!!! GODDAMN THEY SUCK!!! |

![]() | I just really hated the "crying" after his WWF matches. That moment in the olymics really captured the hearts of a lot of people and I feel really pissed that he would trivialize that. I agree that the WWF was a good move for him...he's not a great "real" acter, and the $$$ is probably great. It's just the recreation of the "olymic moment" that really gets to me -Dan
