Default Sweep Single Finishes?

I sometimes like to do the sweep single when I am grappling. Usually when I use it I tend to finish it low. Every once in a while when I go for the sweep single I can sometimes pick the ankle and come back up with it. I know it is a very advantageous position but every time I pick the ankle up I have no idea how to finish it. Can any of you guys share some ways to finish the single from there?

You're a rassler, there are plenty of good ways to bring the guy down. Front trips, back trips, navy, ect.....

When I do takedowns I usually don't go for a single leg series. So when I have the ankle picked I have no idea what to do with it. And with wrestling season being over I'm kinda up shit creek without a paddle.

Pick up the ankle while its up begin turning his body, spinning him around and use your leg to get inside his legs and trip the leg that is still on the ground. Get your leg behind it and pull towards yourself and down he goes. Do this while he's being tuned so he cant defend it. When you fall push his leg to the outside of your body and you should land in side control.

You have already done the hard part (closing the distance and getting the single). You do not even need to sweep the other leg IMO. If you have the ankle you should push with your head on his upper body (keep a good high head position) and pull the ankle the opposite way (inwards towards his other foot and upwards). Your other hand should be holding the top of his leg (above the knee). You should land in side control.

I am not a very good wrestler but this works for me. Jubajai (or another experienced wrestler) should be able to give you any technical details I have missed.

Thanks for the info guys. The only finish in the single leg series that I've been doing so far is the one Omoplata described and switching it to a double.
