Hey All,
I'm new to the world of martial arts and i'm trying to decide whats the best for me. I want to be able defend my self against street fighting tactics as well as other martial arts. I have come across this place that has it's core fighting style as Krav Maga with other elements such as bjj,Wing Chung Kung Fu & some philipino styles. It sounds alright to me but what do you think? If you want to check it out it's www.sdtactics.com.au Thanks Kempezy |

Hey! I think that you would benefit from any art that combines multiple styles. To be able to defend yourself, you would need to study arts that teach ground, stand-up, and take-downs. If you can get that in one school great.
To qoute an instructor I train with:"BJJ/Muay Thai give you the a-b-c's. Other styles like CSW are the l-m-n-o-p's." So, learn the bascis and then expand yourself from there. |

Krav is pretty much the best thing for you if you're looking into self defence invoving modern weapons. They integrade simple, powerful striking, clinching, and grappling allong with knowledge of knives and guns ect....
I think eventually I'll have to take KM for a while, its very logical. |
