Thumbs up Gracie vs Hammerhouse

I was browsing my comcast ppv and saw a "Gracie Fighting Championship"
Gracie family vs. Hammerhouse. It's only $29.99, but it doesn't say anything about when it was. Is it current or is it a long time ago? I thought Mark Coleman retired?

Heads up anyone!
Tanks

This is exactly what I'm saying. MMA is all about "kickin' ass", and now BJJ is just a white trash fad, I almost feel like I don't want to be a part of it, so many of the people I train with are this way. They are like "Yeah man I saw tito ortiz beat down so many dudes, so I decided I should kick ass too and do Brazilian Jujutsu, cuz its the best!!!"

I feel ashamed to be around these people. Few of the people I train with are martial artists, they are just guys with bad backgrounds who are "fighters". Sure they can be pretty good at subgrappling and striking, but they are just guy who want to take out thier childhoods on someone else. It's messed up, this is why I also want to be versed in Chin Na and other arts, I want to be a martial artist, not an ignorant and angry fighter.

So your saying he's still fighting. Did he fight against any gracies?

Not that I've heard I was just answering your question.
"I thought Mark Coleman retired?"

Holy crap that was a cool ass video. I didn't realize how strong he was. He broke his arm by slamming him. He was outa breath kinda fast though. He needs to have better stamina to keep it up though!

Thanks for the link. I am now a hammerhouse fan.

I don't look up to these people.

Mark is a great wrestler and fighter, but i dont respect him as a person really.

Yeah I know what u mean. He's so trashy. Expecially his language. But he was pissed off. Apparently Silva and folks suckered punched him when they were holding him back. Thats pretty shitty of them. Im just glad to see Marks still fighting at 42 years old.

trash in mma is common but I really don't think it's any worse than in basketball, football, ect. Colemans got alot of heart and that goes along way in my book. I can't forgive Baroni for his fitness video though.

Please dont base your opinion of mma fighters, and mma in general on the actions of chutebox or any of the hammerhouse guys at that PPV, that was just a really fucked up situation, with people attacking each other, and its a black mark really, dont think that represents MMA.

Oh just to clear things up, Coleman took Shogun down, Shogun posted and broke his arm, it was more of an accident than anything, but Coleman did win the fight. Before that takedown Shogun looked dominant, with a head kick, and like 4 submission attempts BAM BAM BAM BAM right in a row, too bad it ended that way.

As for the hammerhouse vs gracie thing, its over now, but I heard it was horrible, it was part of the Arnold Classic Fitness weekend.

The trashiness extendeds way beyond this dispute, but yeah I understand it was kind of a freak incident.
