Yeah, my bad... Don't take anything I say (post) personally, eh?

Just a different point of view from my side of things... I think people are generally sheep as opposed to wolves. Even the so called martial artists... Big bad tough as nails sports fighters are good in the ring and talk the talk but put a knife in the game and some will just piss themselves.

Most artists are too scared to even consider the scenario that started this thread. Avoid it or run away, right? Phui... too late for that and wrong answer. There is something to be said for knowing your abilities and avoidance but there is also a time to spill their guts on the deck.

Or make a couple of little holes in the "soft targets".

What MA would help you here? Gun-Fu... Unless you only have a knife?

u know, if your wife was trained and armed with a blade or weapon, she would make an awesome sleeper in this situation. the male attackers will most likely percieve her to be helpless wich can greatly aid you in this situation.

Classic Silat strategy (weak counterpart position) Now you're thinking!

Its alright, and I agree most citizens are scared sheep. I'm sure that if I was attacked I would do what I could to protect myself/people dear to me, but I have never been in such a situation, and don't know anyone personally who has. I think that if everyone packed knives it might be a wierd scinario, and since i don't think i need one i dont bring one, but those who do need one and do come across rough people in rough places, and know that the threat on them and thier family is great, they may want to bring a weapon, logically. I suppose it might even be luck that I live in a nice area now.
