Rich's suspension won't come into play as he had successful hand surgery that will keep him out of the octagon for six to eight months. Loiseau, who lost on the judges score card by the count of 50-43, 50-43, and 50-42, will be suspended until May 4, 2006 due to the punishment he took. "

Yup, its a typical injury though. A pair of 4 oz gloves doesent help much when youre throwing punchs like they do.

Still... gotta hurt. I wonder how it feels to have metal plates in any part of ur body.
