I'm finding that I have an issue after a full class of grappling. I'm fine during class. (except being winded and out of shape ) And I make sure that I'm trying to relax and breathe properly when doing the techniques.
But after class as I drive home I tend to get headaches. Maybe that's not describing it right. Its like pressure in my head that's "settling". That's the best way I can describe it. I don't think its just from being tired, as I can do a kickboxing class and be winded as hell and this doesn't happen. Has anyone else encountered this? I THINK its getting better, but it still happens after every class, and for some reason its only when I get in my car. If I stay after class and relax for a few minutes, I'm fine. But once I get in and start driving it starts to happen. Will it just go away over time? I'm not new to martial arts, but I'm fairly new to grappling, at least as much grappling as I've been doing lately. |

Well, I dont really get tired from grappling anymore,
(from monday-sunday I will have done ten classes this week) However, before when I did get tired, and every once in awhile, I sit there and stare at the wall for a bit, most people seem to do it, we actually discussed it in the changeroom once. Maybe you need to take your time to sit and stare at the wall? I've never had problems with headaches though, so thats my only advice.

there's a good chance you may be behydrated. Drinks water before, during and especially after training.
it's good to sit, stretch and cool down after class.. and drink lots of liquids Don't do the Redbull or other energy drinks that have caffeine |

grappling and wrestling will involve alot of head movement ecspecially in unatural poistions, upside down etc. could cause a lot of blood rushing about in the head which could lead to this. this cud just be an after effect of the blood rushes when u are feeling this, however i dont kno i am no doctor
