We are proud to announce Guilherme Maia A De La Riva Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt will be teaching at the Birmingham Black Belt Academy!!!

Guilherme will be holding seminars with non other than Ricardo de la Riva Goded in Spain, Ireland and then will be holding an exclusive jiu-jitsu GI and no GI workshops at the Birmingham Black Belt Academy.

After this Guilherme Maia will be left to teach and establish a world class MMA/jiu-jitsu team! in the name of Team De La Riva Birmingham!.

For those few people who do not know who the Brazilian legend Ricardo De La Riva Goded is. He is a Carlson Gracie 5 degree black belt the man that invented the De La Riva guard!
A Great part of this knowledge came through undisputed victories against great adversaries as Royce, Royler and Rolker Gracie. to stand out that He defeated Rolker and Royce in the same competition and Royler twice!

Some of the notable fighters either sport or NHB that De La Riva has promoted to black belt are!
