What the hell, I'll give this dead horse a kick or two. The bottom line is that street fighting is about being street wise more than anything, and that's not something that can be taught. Only time and experience will teach you that. All the training in the world won't help much if you don't understand your environment. Boar does have an excellent point though; carrying a weapon that you are proficient in using is def. a stronger defense than any empty-handed style.
