JB - it's at their school in deer park.
pat - i agree that it is a well run tourney, but what is there to hype about the dungal? it's just a bunch of amateurs. not that there aren't some good matches, but i could sit in on a class and just watch at most schools to get that...without having to pay $20. |

I just got the flyer in the mail yesterday on the event.
It's $40 if pre-registered and $55 the day of the tourney. They've got a website up this year. FF-I know what you mean about the competition, but the way I look at is is that the tournament circuit it Texas consists only of Carlos' tournaments in Dallas and the Dungal once a yearin Houston. The grapplers in the state need to pull together and show their support for these events or we'll find outselves having to always go out of state to compete. http://www.dungalusa.com PatrickH |

Thanks Patrick. Last year they had all kinds of crazy divisions like Karate, Judo, TKD no contact. I didn't see how they could get enough people to fill all those divisions. They've cut it down a lot this year. Nice website too. TIM MOUSEL needs to start running tournaments again. Lazy Bastage! ![]() |
