Mr. Arieson calling it quits

Well guys, it's been fun. I have actually learned a lot about MA just from reading these posts. I have enjoyed even arguing from time to time. But, the sad fact is this forum has been all but taken over by trolls like Matbla and this new asshole, Andy Murray. With his latest anti-semetic name calling of Jubaji, I have had enough. (I am not even Jewish). Anyway, I am offended beyond belief.

Much like a car accident on the side of the road, or that green thing in your refridgerator that you just have to smell before throwing away, this is an unhealthy form of recreation. What used to be a fun way to while away the minutes while on hold, or on my lunch break, has now become too much.

I want to thank Matbla and others trolls like him for ruining this forum. I say thank you, because it gives me a chance to stop engaging in useless and mindless discussions that go nowhere, and serve no purpose.

People may say that by quitting, it lets these trolls win, which is what they want. However, how can you ever really "win" against a weak little person that hides behind thier PC?

Anyway, I have a beauful wife, a great job and plenty of other interests. So really, I have already won because I can say that I have those things, and I am damn sure that these trolls like Andy murray and Matbla don't have any of those good things that make life important, and probably never really will. So, they actually already have "lost". Lost out on those things in life that are really good.

I am going to miss the posts by Tom Yum, boarspear, tant, jubaji, omoplata and others. You guys have been fun to be e-pen pals with. Too bad the few have to ruin it for the many.

I would sincerely hope that excessive force finds away to clean up this forum, perhaps by requiring members to pay, or some other security measure. meanwhile, I would like excessive force to close my account. I no longer wish to be a part of this forum, nor get any emails about responses to threads.

PS, I have had a HUGE increase in spam emails, and this forum is one of the only internet sites I actually visit. I think the trolls have more on thier agenda besides stirring up trouble. More like identity theft and the sale of each of out email addressed to spam companies.

Good having you on here. Yeah the trolls have other agendas. Some of them are computer hackers using bots to generate fake accounts and try to do stuff, while some come on here to take out their life's frustrations or stalk users accounts maliciously.

You've got to roll with the trolls punches, just like people in real life. In the end, it doesn't matter too much.

Its too bad that you're leaving. Otherwise, its been good chatting with you.
