Fists definitely present a harder tool with which to hit someone.
However, they are also more likely to break than palms..... Its a little like this scenario. Imagine you had the choice of two guns. One was a pump action shotgun that could kill an elephant. But it might blow up and rip your arms off....... And the other was a small pistol. Go for the pistol. It can still do the job, and almost certainly won't hurt you! |

He ran out of gas. Because of Royce's tactics of course. He was beaten by a superior fighter with, for that competition, a superior game plan.
Saying "he ran outta gas else he may have beaten Royce" is a bit like saying "he couldn't hit Royce, or he may well have beaten him"....... |

Durrrrrr.
It was Royce's game plan to make his opponent run out of gas and then submit them. He fell into the gameplan of a superior player. It is NEVER a legitimate excuse for a fighter to say "I just ran out of gas." He should be as fit as humanly possible and far cleever tactically to avoid it. Its like a runner excusing a defeat by saying "I just didn't move my legs as fast as he did." Nonsense. |
