Now that's a fight I'd like to see. Depends on the rules. Cueng is just starting out in MMA and coming off a great career in San Sho. Both in their prime; both as strong as mules. Any opinions?

I'd love to see Cung Le prove himself in MMA by facing some serious opponents- I certainly think he's capable. As much as I'd love to see him develop a career in the sport though I don't think he's ready for a title shot. He hasn't earned it for one, but even more than that I don't think he has the experience he needs in order to face a top notch opponent like Hughes. I also think Strongo needs to chill out and get to know some people on the site before he starts mouthing off like a jack ass.

Cung Le's martial art is SanShou. "Chinese Boxing" He is the undefeated champion in his sport, but even he knows he is no UFC fighter. SanShou rules are point scoring system. No Grappling or wrestling, just throws. No Elbows and sometimes no Knees. He is an outstatnding pysical speciman but its like comparing Billy Blanks to Chuck Liddell. |
