Default tito ortiz as a coach

anyone else notice what a badass coach tito was on ultimate fighter? he really took his position seriously and did everything he could to better his fighters, while ken was just an asshole. it showed the real tito, not the trash talking bad guy everyone is used to seeing. ive heard from a few fighters who have worked with tito and they have all said what a nice guy he really is.

i hope he destroys ken. kens such an asshole, that guy is so insecure about getting old and washed up that all he can do is bark and flex.

Tito had the best team far. He had the best grappler in the world Lister, and the boxing coach who ever he was was good. Ken sucked

Even Dana said that he thought Tito gave everything he had to the young guys but Ken was just in it for himself.

I hope he gets massacred again also!!

Arrogant tosser.

I dunno how bad of a coach Ken really was. They edit the show and the fighters to make them more interesting even if it isnt true. So who knows what really happened

When Tito said what a dick Ken was to his fans, I thought that maybe it was a misunderstanding, but then I talked to my step brother. He went to the Kimo/Ken fight, and afterwards he went to get an autograph from Ken, and he said he was a big jerk to everyone. He always raves about respect, but he rarely gives it.

I really got the impression that Tito is a nice guy and good coach.. and pretty much the opposite when it comes to Ken.
And I too hope Tito will kick Kens ass, because that would make Ken sooooo angry it would be hilarous to watch... I mean it's already funny to watch Tito get under Kens skin, but after that it would be even more fun!

I don't think anyone really knew the kind of guy Tito was until we saw him on TUF 3. He truly put his heart into those guys and seeing him in Matt and Kendall's corner lets you know what kind of guy he is. Best coach on TUF yet....by far.

Tito will kick Shamrock's ass. I'd bet a years money on it.

Tito will probably win the same way like he did last time, but dont be surprised to see Ken tap him out with a knee bar or ankle lock, that wouldnt surprise me. maybe its a 5% chance of happening. Ken could KO him also. Ken is no pushover. Hes an idiot no doubt, but he can fight, and he had a torn ACL last time they faught, its been verified, so itll be good

Anybody notice that during the most fights Tito would be IN the cage between rounds, pep-talking and coaching his fighter, while Ken stayed OUTSIDE the cage?

I think Ken has better hands... and obviously is a better sub guy.

I think Ken sumed it up pretty well in the TapOut magazine article... he said he trains fighters for a living(lions den is more like a hybrid of both a family and a gym) and that he wasn't really interested in the show for that reason. If they trained, they do it for themselves... if they don't, then they don't. He claims to have 8 world champions in different MMA venues(all verifiable) and says that speaks for itself... which it kinda does... like it or not.

I don't know. Ken is old, and has broken his neck, other bones, and REPEATEDLY injured his body. I'm not sure he should even be fighting. But, I think he is more skilled than Tito... it's up for discussion but that's what I think.

Even if Tito's hands ARE better(highly doubt it) then Ken will STILL KNOCK HIM OUT. HAVE YOU SEEN TITOS HEAD? It's 100 pounds... he's gotta be in shape just to hold that shit up.

Maybe, at least with leg locks, but no anything else, even Ken said he doesnt know much BJJ. Titos had Lister on his team for the last, at least, 3 years, he could have learned some good BJJ in that time, certainly enough from the point he was at before Dean came in, to control Ken. If they submit each other, most likely Ken with a leg lock (though Lister is THE BEST at those that I know of so Tito should defend well) and Tito might get a guillitine
