The first fight was Mark Hominick vs Jorge Gurgel......which was a 3 round snoozer. Gurgel's striking was almost on the level of Mark's who had knocked him down with a kick 2 or 3 times. Gurgel is an amazing grappler on the ground just not on his feet and thats why he lost.
Bonnar vs. Rashad was very exciting, I loved seeing Bonnar so dissapointed after cleary getting dominated by Rashad who was the underdog. Bonnar didnt come close to pulling any sub even though Rashad was in his guard most of the time. Rashad did get sidecontrol and Bonnar's back a few times but couldnt finish the fight. Next one............Silva by KO in like 30 seconds. Leben takes 2 fast ass jabs then he's swung into the fence from a neck clinch. He eats more punches, goes down, GnP'ed briefly, gets up, head kicked, punched, then gets KO'd by a knee, and the dozen strikes before that...... Prelim matches: Jorge Santiago TKO's Justin Levens-1st Rob McDonald armbars Kristian -1st Jon Fitch TKO's Thiago Alves -2nd Jason Lambert by gnp stoppage against Hinkle -1st Kos by dec against Dave Menne -3rd Goulet by dec against Cummo(who should have finished the RNC in the last 10 seconds)-3rd |

I was surprised by how flat Bonnar looked in his fight against Rashad. (That fight between Bonnar and F. Griffin was such a war.)
I also thought the announcers were a bit biased toward Bonnar, but then they changed their tune as Rashad started to dominate.
